We wanted to make a central place where everyone can hopefully find the answers to their questions.

There are so many sites that are seeking to try and sell you something. Certificates, cards, etc. that prove your animal is a service animal.

If you take anything from this site, know this:

The ADA requires no formal identification or training for an animal to be classified as a service animal.

You do not have to buy a certificate as proof.
